Multi Delay Download Statistics

I’m impressed. More than 1000 downloads of Multi Delay 0.0.3 in less than a month.
Thanks to all who have made suggestions and send bugreports.
I recently have added support for resampling if the delay time changes. This sounds really cool. Hosts now can record automation and the AudioUnit version now theoretical supports multichannel input and output. If someone know a host that supports this, please tell me, so I can test it. There are more I have fixed and added but that will be announced when I release the next version.

This new SDK by Steinberg …

Steinberg today released the VST Module Architecture. As one of its employee and the one who was responsible for the Mac OS X part, I had access to it a little bit earlier and I’ve done the Phatboy Control MIDI Plugin. The main reason was that it is so difficult to control your VST Instruments and Effects with it (you have to use the Logical Editor) and this one makes it a lot easier now.
As I never will update it again, I will try to prepare it to release it as open source. So people will have the possibility to learn from it (I hope ;-) )
On the other side I’m very hopeful that this brings us some nice new possibilities to use MIDI inside our favorite DAW’s :-)

Multi Delay 0.0.3 released

One week before the 0.0.2 Version will expire, I got the new one ready. The highlight is the preset handling, which is cross-plug-form(at) (Nice word). Another nice thing is that it passes the AUValidation tool now.
Go check it out !
If you make nice Presets, you can mail them to me, you find the preset file inside your home folder at:
Library/Preferences/de.knup.arne.multidelay.presets.xml.
